It was Manning's 400th career touchdown pass.
He's also the fastest in NFL history to reach that ugg boots plateau, needing just 209 games -- and four neck surgeries.
Dan Marino was previously fastest to 400, in 227 games. It took Brett Favre 228 games.
The pass actually traveled about 15 yards across the field, as Manning threw a quick hitch to Thomas, who turned upfield and did the rest of the work for the go-ahead score that gave Denver a 14-13 lead.
It may have felt like déjà vu for the Steelers. It was Thomas who hauled in the short slant pass from Tim Tebow and turned it into the 80-yard touchdown in overtime that ended Pittsburgh's season in the ugg outlet AFC playoffs in January.
